Catering Part 2: The Food

Yes, I'm still here. I know I continue to abandon you after promises of being better about blogging, but it's Christmas and Christmas equals a lack of free time. So again, my apologies for lack of blog posts recently. I finally have more pictures to share from the catering last weekend, thanks to Lisa, who is always more diligent that I am about taking pictures. Prepare for mouth watering goodness:

So maybe this won't make your mouth water quite yet, but here we are at the beginning of Friday night, before we realized that watching Elf wouldn't be a possibility due to all the cooking on our To Do List.

Catering Part 1

The catering team: Buddy, PJ, Eric, Emily, Travis, Me, Erin and Lisa

Hello out there! Sorry for going MIA the past week and a half, but I've been buried in catering work for the holiday party we did last night! But it's over and it couldn't have gone any better! The picture above is my little catering crew, all the servers and culinary minions who came to help out. I'll post more pictures soon of food and tales of the night, but I'll leave you with these gems from the prep night on Friday when we stayed up until 2 am baking quiche and making chicken lollipops:

Shannon enthusiastically maneuvering the chicken wings into chicken lollipops (For a video of this click here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kAekQ5fzfGM)

Lisa pan-frying her delicious meatballs for mini meatball sliders

Cheesy-meaty deliciousness

The bane of our existence on Friday night: Chicken Lollipops. (Luckily they were a huge hit at the party!)

Sorry to tease you with such a short post, but when I get more pictures I promise I'll write more on the whole catering event!
